Breeze Airways, whose tagline is the “seriously nice airline” just got even nicer as it just added new destinations from Vero Beach. Breeze now offers nonstop flights between Vero Beach and Washington Dulles International Airport, located just west of Washington DC, and Ogdensburg International Airport, in upstate New York.
Service will start September 27 with fares from $45* one-way. Washington Dulles and Ogdensburg will be the airline’s 65th and 66th cities added to its nationwide network. They will also be adding two previously unserved routes from the nation’s capital, including Salt Lake City-Provo UT, and South Bend, IN. These airports have never had regular service to the greater Washington DC metro area.
“We are excited for Breeze Airways to become the 45th airline at Washington Dulles International,” said Paul Bobson, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority vice president for airline business development. “Breeze will give local travelers access to three previously unserved markets from the Washington, D.C., region while bringing nonstop service back to upstate New York. With these new flights, Dulles will reinforce its position as the airport with the most nonstop destinations of any airport in the region.”
